Study for Indiana's Life & Health (L&H) exam against IDOI & Pearson VUE's real blueprint.
Indiana's flagship producer exam combines Life and Health into one 180-minute Pearson VUE exam: 135 scored questions plus 15 pretest, 150 total. Indiana's Pearson VUE program also lists standalone Life-only and Health-only exams, but those two configurations have no supported content blueprint yet - LicensePath's Indiana diagnostic covers the combined Life & Health (L&H) exam only, the one real, fully-mapped track live today.
What the real Indiana Life & Health exam looks like.
The exam splits into a 100-question General Knowledge section (the same national category ids Texas's, Florida's, and Georgia's own outlines use) plus a 35-question Indiana Laws, Rules & Regulations section, scored as one exam rather than two separate sittings.
Both sections, mapped from IDOI & Pearson VUE's own Indiana content outline.
Indiana's own outline is a third independent confirmation that Pearson VUE reuses the same 9-category national template across states: its General Knowledge weights (15/15/12/8/16/15/6/5/8) are identical, in the same order, to Texas's and Georgia's own blueprints. LicensePath's blueprint reuses those exact categories, then adds Indiana's own three-way state-law split.

Built from the Indiana Code and Pearson VUE's own materials, not guesses.
Every Indiana question in LicensePath is sourced from the Indiana Code, Title 27 (Insurance), fetched directly from the Indiana General Assembly's official statute database, then cross-checked against Pearson VUE's official Indiana content outline before it's approved for release.
Curious how state exam blueprints are built, or why every practice question carries a citation? Two short guides cover both: what's actually on your state's insurance exam and why we cite every practice question.
