We'd rather launch a little later than rush a question bank.
Every item in LicensePath is sourced from real state insurance code, official state Department of Insurance materials, and the official Pearson VUE candidate outline, then checked against that outline before it's approved for release. Nothing goes live because it sounded plausible.
That review process is also why the app isn't open to the public yet. We're not going to ship a shortcut on the thing candidates are trusting us to get right.

Not to the public. LicensePath is currently in closed testing and isn't open on the App Store or Google Play yet. The Texas question bank is furthest along in content review, and we'd rather finish that properly than launch early. Join the list below to be notified the moment it opens up.
Is this official Pearson VUE or state regulator content?
No. LicensePath is an independent study product, not a government entity. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any state government, state insurance department, or regulatory agency, or with Pearson VUE. Our content is prepared from publicly available regulatory, licensing, and outline sources and reviewed internally before use; it is independent study material rather than official exam content.
Which states are supported?
25 states already have content live in the app: Texas, Florida, California, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Arizona, Kentucky, Nebraska, Tennessee, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, and West Virginia. The underlying diagnostic engine and content pipeline are built to extend to every state, with more added every week as each bank clears review.

What's the difference between free and premium?
Free gives you the full diagnostic, sample daily practice, terminology flashcards, and progress tracking: enough to see how the app works and where you stand. Premium unlocks full adaptive daily practice across every category, all micro-lessons, and the full-length timed mock exam. Premium is $19.99/month, or $39.99 one-time for a 90-Day Exam Pass if you'd rather not have a subscription running. Annual All Access is $79.99/year if you're covering more than one exam family.
How long does it take to prepare with LicensePath?
There's no fixed timeline: it depends on your state, your background, and how much time you can put in each week. The diagnostic exists precisely so you're not guessing: it shows you which categories you're already solid on and which need real work, so you spend study time closing actual gaps instead of re-reviewing everything on a fixed schedule.
Is this the same as the real exam?
No, and we want to be direct about that. LicensePath is an independent study tool, not an official practice product from Pearson VUE or your state regulator. Our mock exam matches your state's real exam length, timing, and category weighting as closely as we can verify it, but the specific questions on your actual exam will be different from ours.
What if my state isn't listed yet?
Join the launch list below and pick "Another state": that tells us where the demand is. The diagnostic engine and content pipeline are already state-generic, so every new state goes through the same blueprint-mapping and sourcing process the current 13 went through. We won't promise a specific date for any one state, since we'd rather ship it right than fast.
Does LicensePath work offline?
Mostly, yes. Practice sessions, flashcards, and your progress are stored locally on your device first, so you can keep studying without a signal. You'll need a connection to sign in, sync your progress across devices, or manage a Premium subscription.
Is LicensePath available on iOS and Android?
LicensePath is built for both. Right now it's in closed testing on Google Play only, and it isn't open to the public on either the App Store or Google Play yet. Join the launch list below to hear when that changes.
Is my study data private?
We don't sell your data, and your specific answers and question text are never sent as analytics. If you create a cloud account, your learning data syncs through Supabase behind row-level security scoped to your account. You can turn analytics off, export your data, or delete your account from Settings once the app is live. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
